Uscita di istruzione al Museo del Mare a Pescara

Accompagnati dalle prof.sse A.Di Pietro e C. Pavoni,L.Caronna e Moira Tini , gli alunni della 3* C,e della 3° D, hanno visitato il Museo del mare G. Pepe di Pescara.

Il dott. Vincenzo Olivieri ha guidato gli alunni in un avvincente percorso di conoscenza del mondo marino all'interno del museo che accoglie imponenti scheletri di un capodoglio e di una balenottera,oltre ad esemplari di cetacei e tartarughe marine.

Il tema " Interferenze tra l'uomo e il mare" è stato approfondito attraverso un video illustrato e commentato dalla nostra esperta guida.Gli alunni hanno documentato l'esperienza attraverso foto e video che verranno successivamente utilizzati per lavori di restituzione e approfondimento.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO THE MUSEUM OF THE SEA

Accompanied by teachers A.Di Pietro C. Pavoni, pupils of 3 * C have visited the Museum of the Sea G. Pepe Pescara.
Dr. Vincenzo Olivieri has guided students on an exciting journey of discovery of the marine world in the museum that houses the impressive skeleton of a sperm whale and a whale, as well as specimens of cetaceans and sea turtles.
The theme "Interference between man and the sea" has been deepened through a video shown and commented on by our expert guida.Gli students have documented the experience through photos and videos that will be later used to work for the return and deepening.

Nato negli anni cinquanta per volontà di Guglielmo Pepe, dottore in veterinaria con la passione del mare, è all'inizio una piccola raccolta di arnesi e di qualche particolare esemplare di animale marino. Nel 1981 viene riaperto al pubblico come museo civico.

Oggi, dopo molti anni di chiusura, è aperta al pubblico una sola sezione dal 2008, poiché si è rinunciato ai lavori di ampliamento previsti

Il museo, oltre ad una sezione dedicata alle tartarughe marine ed una agli scheletri di cetacei del mediterraneo, ospita una collezione di oltre 5000 conchiglie provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Born in the fifties by the will of Guglielmo Pepe, doctor of veterinary medicine with the passion of the sea, is beginning a small collection of tools and of any particular specimen of marine animal. In 1981 he was re-opened to the public as a museum.

Today, after many years of closure, is open to the public only one section since 2008, since it incorporates the extension work planned

The museum, as well as a section dedicated to sea turtles and one the skeletons of cetaceans in the Mediterranean, houses a collection of over 5,000 shells from all over the world.
